Here are the Actual Instructions For Using Pet Greens.

1. Turn the package upside down
2. Complete steps 3-6 over a sink, or spread newspapers to avoid mess
3. Carefully punch out about 10 holes in the bottom of the package with a large nail or pen.
4. Turn package upright, spread open the bottom of the bag and shake soil to the bottom.
5. First tear tab to open the package and take out the bag of seeds, then cut open the using the dotted cut line
6. Place package on a saucer or in the sink and add about I cup of water until the soil and seed are evenly moist throughout the entire package

7. Place the package in a warm shaded area for sprouting. Make sure the seeds stay moist. It is IMPORTANT that the seeds do not dry out. WATER DAILY, or when the product looks dry.
8. After the seeds sprout, water TWO TIMES PER WEEK. The amount of water needed may vary depending on the time of the year.
9. Do NOT leave your pet unattended when feeding out of the package.

Comparison # 2

• It does not contain 100% Organic Wheat Grass, but is comprised of a mixture of various types of grass seeds.
• It is packaged in a plastic disposable “tub container” that is shrink wrapped. The packaging is very dull.
• It cannot be displayed on a hanger, but requires shelf space where the “tubs” are stacked.
• The growing medium is a mixture of vermiculite, soil and other components which are easily spilled, and even a breeze of air blows the fine particles about.
• It would be ludicrous to consider allowing a pet to eat the grass unattended. We’ve tested it with cats and dogs, and ended up a total mess of growing medium spread all over the floor!
